Malarkey Books is a largely fictional publishing entity dedicated almost entirely to publishing the words of Alan Good, an underground writer who is so underground you usually need a geology degree to find him. We are sort of branching out into publishing the words of additional people, like these words by the author Nate Briggs. If you are interested in becoming a regular contributor, feel free to use the thing down below to get in touch.
Switching to the first person, I am an antisocial, reclusive author living in a heavily fortified microcompound somewhere in the United States, specifically Denver. In fact I'm so antisocial and reclusive that almost no one has heard of me, although my writing has appeared in Timothy McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Atticus Review, The Legendary, Bookslut, Red Fez, Perversion Magazine, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, The East Bay Review, and Word Riot. Now some of it appears here.
Alan Good received his B.A. in English from the University of Colorado and M.A. in English (Literature) from The City College of New York. His writing has appeared in Timothy McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Bookslut, Atticus Review, Perversion Magazine, The East Bay Review, Red Fez, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, and Word Riot. He is the author of a novel called Barn Again: A Memoir and a collection of stories called The War on Xmas.
His Twitter thing is @TheAlanGood. You can also try @MalarkeyBooks.
The official Malarkey Books Fakebook page is @MalarkeyBooks.
